A packed Allianz Cloud witnessed a day of padel to remember as the semi-finals of the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1 took centre stage.

Leburger showed remarkable resilience to come from 6-0 down against Chingalán and book their place in the final, where they will face the Golden Boys, who defeated Franco Stupaczuk - Jon Sanz (#4) for the third consecutive week.

Meanwhile, in the women’s draw, Ari Sánchez - Andrea Ustero (#3) completed a clean sweep of finals on the European swing of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour after defeating the world No. 1s. On Sunday, they will face Perlamita, who defeated Claudia Fernández - Martina Calvo (#4) in straight sets.

From 6-0 Down to the Final

Juan Lebrón - Leo Augsburger (#3) produced one of the comebacks of the season on centre court at the Allianz Cloud to book their place in what will be their fourth final together in 2026, following their appearances in Cancún, Brussels and Málaga.

The team coached by Agustín Gómez Silingo recovered from an opening 6-0 loss against Ale Galán - Fede Chingotto (#2), something no team had managed to do on Tour until now. Their tenacity on the court allowed them to unleash their attacking power and complete the comeback with back-to-back 6-2 sets.

Chingalán end their European swing without reaching a final, further denting their chances of challenging for the No. 1 spot in the FIP Race during the final stretch of the season. They will be unable to defend their title from last season, while it will be the first time Galán has not featured on a Sunday in Milan.

Meanwhile, Leburger will face Agustín Tapia - Arturo Coello (#1) in a final once again. The Golden Boys defeated Sanz - Stupaczuk for the third consecutive week, having also beaten them in the Rotterdam P2 and Germany P2 finals.

Their 6-4, 6-3 victory in one hour and 18 minutes not only gives them the chance to fight for what would be their fourth consecutive title (12th of the season), but also marked Coello’s 300th Tour win. At just 24 years old, he became the first player to reach this impressive milestone.

“Every victory is incredibly special. Reaching this milestone is thanks to so many people, Agus first and foremost. Ever since we started playing together, the team has worked really well. It’s incredibly satisfying to see what we’re building together little by little,” said the King at the press conference.

The No. 2 Spot in the FIP Race at Stake

In the women’s draw, Sánchez - Ustero’s (#3) semi-final victory over Gemma Triay - Delfi Brea (#1) has opened up the race for the No. 1 spot at the end of the season even further.

The Spanish team continued their excellent form of recent weeks, having now reached four consecutive finals. Despite Ustero suffering from stomach problems that prevented her from performing at her best, she and Sánchez showed remarkable focus to secure a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the quickest match of the day, lasting just one hour and 14 minutes.

It was the Spanish team’s third consecutive victory over Triay - Brea and levelled the 2026 head-to-head at 6-6. The result also saw Sánchez overtake Alejandra Salazar as the second player in women’s padel history with the most final appearances, with 102.

On Sunday, Magic Ari will face her former partner Paula Josemaría and Bea González, who got their revenge against Calvo - Fernández after losing to them in Düsseldorf last week.

Perlamita produced a highly composed performance to secure a 6-2, 7-6 victory after an unforgettable match point that lasted two minutes and six seconds and ended with a powerful winning smash from Josemaría.

Sunday’s final will be hugely significant for both teams. Following their title at last week’s Germany P2, Sánchez - Ustero moved just 40 points ahead of Perlamita in the FIP Race, which is based on the 22 best results of the season. The team that wins tomorrow will arrive at the Kuwait Major occupying that position, although Josemaría - González will remain No. 2 in the FIP Ranking, where players defend their 2025 points based on their results in the current season.

Regardless of the outcome, both teams will reduce Brea - Triay’s lead in the FIP Race, adding even more excitement to the battle for the No. 1 spot at the end of the season.
