You have certain rights regarding your personal data.
4.1 Your rights regarding personal information
In certain circumstances, by law, you have the right to:
Object to the processing of your personal information when we rely on a legitimate interest (or that of a third party) and there is something in your particular situation that makes you want to object to the processing for this reason. You also have the right to object when we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a "data subject access request"). This allows you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and verify that we are processing it lawfully.
Request the correction of personal information we have about you. This allows you to correct any incomplete or inaccurate information we have about you.
Request the deletion of your personal information. This allows you to ask us to delete or remove personal information when there is no good reason for us to continue processing it. You also have the right to request that we delete or erase your personal information when you have exercised your right to object to processing (see above).
Request the restriction of the processing of your personal information. This allows you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example, if you want us to verify its accuracy or the reason for its processing.
Request the transfer of your personal information to another party in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Please contact us using the details in section 3 if you wish to exercise any of these rights. In most cases, these rights are not absolute and are subject to certain exceptions or conditions. For example, if you wish to withdraw your consent or object to the processing, we may need to discuss with you whether our use of your data should continue for other legal purposes, such as compliance with a legal or contractual requirement.
We will respond to your request within one month from its receipt. In some cases, we may not be able to fulfill your request to exercise the right before this date and may need to request more time. Where we are unable to provide you with a complete response for any reason, we will inform you in our initial response to your request.
4.2 Your duty to inform us about changes
It is important that the personal information we have about you is accurate and up-to-date. Please inform us if your personal information changes during your relationship with us.
4.3 Rates
Generally, you will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights).
In some cases, we may charge a reasonable fee if your access request is clearly unfounded or excessive, or if you request multiple copies of the information. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
4.4 What we may need from you
It is possible that we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to anyone who is not entitled to receive it.
4.5 Right to complain
If you wish to request more information about any of the rights mentioned above, or if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, please contact us using the contact details provided in section 3.
If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office which you can contact at: https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/ or 0303 123 1113.
